Bookkeeping for Contractors

I am Kierston Ward, owner of Bookkeeping for Contractors and serve on the executive board of the Utah PWB. I grew up in a construction family and saw firsthand how hard contractors work and how challenging it can be to manage the financial side of a business while keeping projects moving. That experience shaped my passion for helping general contractors understand their numbers, improve job costing, and build stronger, more profitable companies. I enjoy turning complex financial information into practical guidance contractors can actually use and save on taxes. My team supports clients with bookkeeping, payroll, progress billing, draw submissions, accrual and project-based accounting, QuickBooks Online, team training, and collaboration with CPAs/CFOs. I value integrity, clear communication, and long-term relationships. My goal is to give contractors confidence in their financials so they can focus on leading their teams and building successful projects.
