On‑Sight Insights — A New SLHBA Event Series

The Salt Lake Home Builders Association is proud to introduce On‑Sight Insights, a new hands‑on event series bringing our industry together on site at active and recently completed residential developments across the Wasatch Front.

Each event offers a behind‑the‑scenes look at a real project built by one of our homebuilders. Attendees will tour the home, walk the site, and engage in candid discussions on the full development story—from entitlements and site challenges to product decisions, sales performance, and finishes. Tour leaders may include builders, developers, city and planning officials, and other key partners involved in the project.

Designed to foster collaboration and real‑world learning, On‑Sight Insights connects builders, municipalities, and industry partners while highlighting great projects and generating additional market awareness.

All SLHBA members are welcome to attend—we look forward to seeing you on site!

This month's On-Sight Insights is focused on McArthur Homes.

 

Project Information

Pierson Farms is a 52 lot single family home community in the heart of West Jordan. We offer homes that start in the low $700s with optional basement ADUs. The farm was purchased from the original landowners who worked with us for a year to move the project through the entitlement process, successfully rezoning from A-1 to R-1-8. Notably, Pierson Farms doesn't have an HOA or cluster mailboxes, something that buyers have responded very favorably towards. We've been throttling our sales to three homes per month, incrementally raising our prices, and have never exhausted our interest list. It's been a home run project for McArthur Homes and we wish we had 10 more just like it.
