The Point: Utah’s Next Generation Community & New For-Sale Housing Opportunity

Come hear from Nick Duerksen, Land Development Director for The Point, for an inside look at one of Utah’s most significant development opportunities.

Nick will provide an update on the overall vision for The Point, the progress being made on Phase I, and what is coming next for this transformational 600-acre project in Draper. The Point’s first phase has now broken ground on vertical construction, with initial deliveries targeted for 2028.
Nick will also provide an overview of the newly released River District For-Sale Housing opportunity, where The Point is currently seeking qualified developer and builder partners through a multi-stage selection process.

The River District encompasses approximately 50 acres west of Porter Rockwell Boulevard and is envisioned to deliver approximately 800–900 owner-occupied homes across a range of product types, including single-family detached homes, townhomes, and condominiums. The Point is intentionally allowing flexibility for developers and builders to bring forward innovative product concepts that respond to the market while advancing the larger vision for the site.

For members of the homebuilding and development community, this will be an opportunity to hear directly from The Point about where the project is headed, how the River District will take shape, and what opportunities may exist for Utah builders and developers to play a role in bringing this next phase of The Point to life.
