The SLHBA Young Professionals Committee will begin hosting a regular dinner hour meant for informal discussion about best practices in the home building industry.
The topic of the first meeting will be Effective Meetings. We will cover strategies for finding raw land and new projects, development, subdivision of lots, and working with municipalities to get projects approved. Come with your own insights ready to share with the group and expect to learn a thing or two about what other builders in the area are successfully doing.
The purpose is to provide a content-heavy activity that increases the skills and knowledge of the home building profession in Salt Lake, while helping to establish professional connections between newer and more experienced builders. So builders of all ages are welcome.
